In October 2015, Kathy Layne and her husband Rory made the move from Mansfield, Arkansas, to Emory, Texas. With a background as a Surgical Technologist, Kathy spent 10 years in a hospital in Ft. Smith, AR, before transitioning into real estate. Growing up as a military kid and marrying her retired military husband Rory in 2002, Kathy’s life has been shaped by service and dedication. She holds an Associate Degree in Surgical Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Leadership and Organization, both from the University of Arkansas. Since starting her real estate career in 2017, Kathy has enjoyed watching Emory and the Lake Fork area grow and evolve, and she takes pride in helping others find their place in this wonderful community.

With over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and 25 years in leadership roles, Joanna Kestler has dedicated much of her career to healthcare. Now semi-retired, she channels her passion for service into owning a clothing and gift boutique. As a small business owner and active community member, Joanna believes in the importance of involvement and collaboration to uplift and improve the community. Her extensive leadership background equips her to contribute effectively as a board member, where she strives to make a meaningful impact.

Treasurer - Teresa Aguilar
A lifelong resident of Rains County, Teresa Aguilar serves as the Office/Sales Manager at RV-CO Manufacturing. With 32 years of marriage and three grown children, she has deep roots in the community. As a dedicated board member of the Rains County Chamber of Commerce, Teresa is passionate about fostering growth and strengthening local businesses, always working to support and uplift the community she calls home.
